750g rolled oats/quinoa flakes (for gluten free)
80g (1/2 cup) sesame seeds
50g (1/2 cup) flaked almonds
50g (3/4 cup) flaked coconut
180g (1 cup) raisins, cranberries, sultanas or goji berries
160g (1 cup) chopped dried apricots
130g (2 cups) processed wheat bran/processed rice bran (gluten free)
80g (1/2 cup) pepitas
80g (1 cup) wheat germ/LSA (gluten free)
75g (1/2 cup) sunflower seed kernels
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Transfer to a baking sheet and spread in an even layer. Bake, stirring once, until oats are lightly golden, about 20 minutes. Leave to cool.
Remember a serve is on average ½ a cup for women and ¾ cup for men!
